Ingredients
- Garlic clove (2 unit)
- Ricotta (2 dollop)
- Bread (2 slice)
- Basil (1 gram)
- Cherry tomato (165 gram)
Method
- Heat cast iron pan over medium low heat.
- Once pan is heated pour olive oil into the bottom.
- Add tomatoes, garlic & salt. Avoid moving the tomatoes or they won't char properly.
- Cook until garlic begins to brown and tomatoes begin to char on bottom, about 10-15 minutes.
- Once tomatoes are charred, pick out the garlic and place them in a small bowl.
- Toast the bread.
- Pick out the garlic, remove the husks, crush and then chop.
- In a small bowl mix the ricotta and garlic.
- Paste the ricotta and garlic mixture on the bread.
- Use a fork to pick out the tomatoes and place them on top of the bread.
- Pour the juice in the bottom of the bowl on top of the tomatoes.
- Pour another few drizzles of olive oil on top.
- Tear apart the fresh basil into pieces and place on top.
- Grind black pepper on top and finish with more salt to taste.
